Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and if you were here in the Richmond, Virginia area, you also enjoyed a wonderfully white Christmas!  The first one for us since we've been in Virginia.  We are all still enjoying the tree and I especially love sitting up late at night when it's quiet with all the lights off except for the tree.  It's just so peaceful.  As for the rest of the decorations, I so want to take them all down and get the house back to normal. (Well, as normal as a house can be with 3 little kids running around).  However, I faced strong opposition today from my kids as I started taking decorations off the bookcases and around the house.  They pleaded with me to leave the decorations up because they  were so certain that it was still Christmas since there was still snow outside.  It was just so cute that I decided that I'd give in until New Year's Day.

Here is our Christmas card.  It was a challenge as usual to get them all to cooperate.  The things we photographers and moms will do to get that perfect Christmas card picture!  Oh, and I got this fabulous card template free from The Florabella Collection.  She has some really amazing products, not to mention her site is just so darn pretty to look at :-)

So for Christmas I finally got a camera bag...well, it is not technically a camera bag, it is a camera bag insert!  I really had to come to terms with the fact that I am all over the place as far as style and such...I am always changing things up.  So, instead of forking over a couple hundred dollars on the next "It" bag, I decided to buy THE IT BAG!  Ha!  (wasn't that clever of me?)   Now I can simply take the insert out and put it into any bag or purse I want!  I love the idea!  Once it gets here, I'll let you all know what I think.  I cannot wait!

One last thing...while I was working away on proofs before Christmas, I had Timi over at Cinnamon Girl Studio set up my new WordPress blog!  Yippeee!  I can't wait to actually start using it.  It is still under construction (which translates into me spending hours trying to figure out how to make things work and ultimately me hitting my head against the wall a few times!)  Ha, just kidding, I'm not that technically challenged.  I still have a couple sessions to finish proofing before I can get to it.  It will be so nice to be all caught up in time to ring in the new year!!!

Speaking of New Year, if you are or have been a client of mine this year, I'm sending out a little something as a New Year's gift :-)    Which reminds me that I better get cracking on that!
